Welcome!

Troy Literacy Council is a non-profit organization of volunteer tutors who want to help those in our community become literate. We serve the communities around Miami County, Ohio, by providing adults free, confidential, one-on-one tutoring in multiple literacies, including reading, writing, math, English as a Second Language, and digital literacy.  Tell us what you need and let us help. 

English Conversation Club will be held on the following Mondays: January 29, February 12, February 26, March 11, March 25, April 22, and May 6. These are held at the Troy-Miami County Public Library.

Announcements

The next Troy Literacy Council meeting is Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 at 6:30PM. Meetings are held on the first floor of the Hayner Cultural Center (301 W. Main St., Troy, OH).

NEWS FOR YOU

Troy Literacy council has purchased a weekly newspaper, News for You, available at the Troy Miami County Public Library. This news source offers information on current events at a high interest, low vocabulary level for adults. The papers are located on the top of the magazine shelving and with the Hi-Low materials along the south wall by adult fiction.
