Barb Minnich

President

Barb is a retired educator. She was an Intervention Specialist at Miami East High School for thirty eight years. She keeps busy now volunteering in her community, spending time with friends and family, and working at the Troy Miami County Public Library.

Jane Eberly

Tutor Trainer & Coordinator

Janie has been a Troy resident for almost 50 years. She is a former Family & Consumer Sciences teacher with a Masters degree in Reading. In addition to her involvement with TLC she is also a member of Altrusa and a doting grandma. She is also a member of Batty Binders Miami County Quilt Guild.

Diana Schneider

Secretary

Diana has lived in Casstown with her husband and two big hairy dogs for four years.  She retired from the Springfield City Schools after teaching elementary grades for forty years. She enjoys volunteering, knitting, reading and entertaining family and friends.

Amanda Schwieterman

Vice President

Amanda is a certified elementary teacher with a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction. In addition to volunteering for the Troy Literacy Council, she also loves to spend time with her family, friends, and pets.

Chris Stevens

Treasurer

Chris has lived in Troy since 2016, and has spent most of his free time since then renovating his home. Chris has a Ph.D in aeronautical engineering, the best wife ever, and two children. He likes to travel and ski whenever he can (which is never frequently enough).

Alex Dyke

Communications & PR

Alex has spent his whole life in Troy. He currently works at the Troy Miami County Public Library as an IT Technician. Outside of work, he is a writer and a photographer.

Glenna Rinehart

Librarian

Glenna Rinehart is a retired teacher from Miami East Local Schools where she was an English and Spanish teacher for 25 years. She has taught for a total of 37 years. She is the mother of two sons and grandmother to one granddaughter.
